"As both a participant and a presenter, I have been very impressed with what the technology of webinars offers"

— Margie Norris, PhD

"My name is A.S. and I am a clinical psychologist. I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed the two courses I have taken, Use and Benefits of Health and Behavior Codes and Understanding Medical Necessity and Documenting Mental Health Services. I have been working with a geriatric population after spending the last years working in a prison setting. Your courses have helped me to conceptualize what I do and to better understand the utility of a psychologist in a LTC setting."

"I want to encourage each clinician to access the CoHealth programs. I loved completing these courses online. I am not a computer whiz, but I found the site easy to navigate and I earned several CEUs in the comfort of my own home. All four programs provide relevant and practical information. The Behavioral Management course is quite helpful and I have adapted the information to train nursing staffs on how to manage problem behaviors and inappropriate boundaries. The courses on Documentation and Medical Necessity for Mental Health Practitioners and How to Document Progress in Psychotherapy include substantiating cognitive capacity, and establishing progress for ongoing psychotherapy. These courses are based on a clinician's interpretation of the Medicare guidelines and provide great concrete documentation examples. The course on Ethical Dilemmas is a good review. I think this course is especially important for clinicians new to the long term care setting. It highlights information about HIPPA dilemmas, and ethical and philosophical differences that occur related to informed consent, Advanced Directives and management of long term chronic illness. I hope we will continue to have access to these programs. I am looking forward to future courses."

"I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed the two courses I have taken, Use and Benefits of Health and Behavior Codes and Understanding Medical Necessity and Documenting Mental Health Services. Your courses have helped me to conceptualise what I do and to better understand the utility of a psychologist in a LTC setting. …These are just some of the questions I have as I navigate my way through this work. Again, thank you for the information. It has truly served me. I will continue to take courses and raise questions as they arise. Thank you so much…Look forward to more courses."

"…resources I am finding extremely valuable is participation in Joe Casciani's CoHealth web seminar "Beginning a Mental Health Practice in Nursing Homes." It's the most expensive 10 CEU course I've ever taken…the material is invaluable. We have completed 3 of the first 4 modules. In my time zone I log on at 0700 on Fridays and off at 0930. PowerPoint slides and a chat screen for questions are on the net and audio is via conference call on my speakerphone. The system is simple and works pretty well. In terms of content, it's a bit like drinking from a fire hose. Probably 90% of the material is directly relevant to the HBPC MH job. I have literally applied some of the material the same day in my practice. There are other special aspects of practice with the geriatric/multiple medical problem population that we gloss over quickly due to time constraints, but at least I know they exist and can research them on my own. Even the material on Medicare billable CPT codes has been worthwhile in that Dr. Casciani very much clarified my understanding of the H&B codes. The only part of the course unlikely to be relevant to HBPC is on marketing services to nursing homes, but this has been a minor part of the material. …and now that I think of it, even aspects of marketing are relevant -- getting staff onboard, letting others know what a psychologist can do with these folks, acceptable structure for treatment plans and follow-up etc."

"I enjoyed today's conference… I have 25 doctoral students in my geropsyche course and I introduced them to your site online in class tonight. This is a brave new world for them and it was a great example to show how the pros do this!"

— AD in Yardley, PA

"I want to add my compliments to Brenda…the course contents are fantastic. She does a great job.” from CGS in Wilmington, DE; comment on the speaker of a live web conference “A computer glitch made this a time-consuming experience but the content was exceptional. Customer service helped rectify the situation. I will try another Cohealth course."

— CGS in Wilmington, DE

"Very sorry to miss Harry Mills... I've listened to Dr. Mills before via teleconference, and he's very good--describes concepts and interventions in a way that's clear and clinically useful. (teleconference)"

— BK in Oakland, CA

"The presenter was one of the best I have ever heard on this topic -- right on target! I consider myself very knowledgeable on psychotropics and pain meds and often provide inservices to care facility staff on this topic, but Dr. Margolis provided a lot of information I wasn't fully aware of."

— L.K., LCSW

"I thought Dr. Margolis was an exceptional speaker, and found the format very useful and usable. I would participate in a similar program in the future."

— Dr. N. H.

"I thank you for this afternoon. The information presented was exactly what we want to offer our faculty and students. After you left the Chief Psychologist went to my director and let her know she was very happy with the training. She felt the material was exactly what needed to be presented. The Dean of the College of Psychology came to me and stated “this is what every student needs, the material was so relevant and applies to their careers.” I feel this to be the biggest complement. I thank you for taking time to come and share your expertise."
