[CoHealth Web Conference]Beginning a Mental Health Practice in Nursing Homes (PD101b) 2nd of 4-part Series - The Nursing Home Environment Wednesday, Jan 20th, 2010 Time to be determined (02:30:00 hours) Focus: The number of older adults who reside in nursing homes and LTC settings is rising quickly, and is projected to grow faster than any other cohort group in U.S. history. With this demographic shift comes a unique OPENING for skilled, dedicated professionals, including mental health professionals. CoHealth is presenting a 4-part series of 2.5 hr. seminars to give practitioners the tools, resources, and training necessary to START A PRACTICE in nursing homes. Training is conducted online, so you can conveniently participate from home or office, using a phone and computer with internet connection. Class size is limited to ten. Tuition includes a syllabus for each class (documentation tools, templates, test materials, contracts, etc.), audio recordings of each class, four staff inservice modules, Certificate of Completion, and one-on-one follow-up consultation with our Clinical Advisory Board on behavior medicine, Medicare policy, psychopharmacology, clinical management, and rehabilitation topics. For added value, marketing assistance is part of the package, whereby prospective worksites are contacted on our graduates' behalf. Assistance with documentation reviews and/or billing are add-on options.
