About CoHealth | Background of Developers Background of Developers All Concept Healthcare course content is developed by the members of our Professional Advisory Board. These Advisors are all licensed health care professionals and are known and respected in their respective fields. Their expertise results from years of graduate and post-graduate education, applied training, and career work. In addition to their positions in clinical health settings, including acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, long term care, hospice, and home health organizations, the Advisors have a list of publications and presentations at industry events to their credit. Each remains fully committed to ethical and professional standards. There is no potential conflict of interest or bias in their contributions from affiliations with any outside agency or sponsor. All content developers can be reached through the main office at Concept Healthcare, or by accessing them individually via their email addresses, using the convention: first initial last name@cohealth.org (no spaces). Purpose Concept Healthcare endeavors to provide the highest quality behavioral health education and training to professional and family caregivers. Our mission statement and company goals are spelled out in earlier sections on the About CoHealth web page. By making this content available to potential users, the overriding aim of the company is to include behavioral health approaches and insights whenever possible when working with older adults. Although the company is offering this education to a variety of caregiver groups, neither the company nor its professional staff, will provide clinical services or medical or psychological advice to its clients. Rather, our "help the helpers" approach enables us to offer caregiving solutions in a professional, cost-effective, and easily accessed manner. Provider Concept Healthcare is owned solely by Joseph M. Casciani, PhD. Dr. Casciani brings to this company over twenty-five years of expertise working with older adults and their caregivers, on clinical and administrative levels. Funding to support the site comes from clients purchasing the course products and other training endeavors. Additional revenues may derive from paid advertisements, and when present, these will be readily identified as advertisements so as to not be confused with online course content. Content All course content has been developed in-house by our professional team, and is copyrighted by Concept Healthcare. It originates from the developers materials and resources that have accumulated from prior other writings, presentations, and teaching. All of the content is reviewed by the clinical director for accuracy and completeness, and follow up inquiry with the author is made when indicated. None of the materials have been appropriated from outside sources, without providing clear reference to these sources. In view of the active roles played by the professional Advisors, the content should be considered current and up-to-date with the current state of the art.
